Annie’s Kids Consignment Sale offers great incentives for volunteers – and a wide variety of
times for moms AND dads to participate! Workers play a major role in each of our sales and are
always needed. Signing up early as a worker will give you a greater chance of getting a shift of
your choice. You can choose to consign and volunteer, or you can volunteer without bringing in a
single item to sell. Our volunteers will help with drop off days, consignor presale, check out,
straighten items on floor, or post sale re-sorting. Register today to be a volunteer!
Volunteers shop before the public! A small amount of your time will allow you to shop early during the presale. If you just want to volunteer you must work 4 hours. Consignors who sign-up and complete their time slot will increase their percentage of commission.
With a base of 60%, you can increase your consignment commission by volunteering.
2 hours = 2.5%
4 hours = 5%
6 hours = 7.5%
8 hours = 10%
10 hours = 12.5%
12 hours = 15%
Pre-sale attendance will be checked by providing your vendor number upon entrance to the sale.
We ask that volunteers arrive 10 minutes before their shift begins. This will allow for sign in, get instructions and ask questions. We ask that you do not bring your children with you when you volunteer or shopping the presale.
If you are consigning as well as volunteering please plan on coming early or staying after your shift to check in your items. You will not be allowed to check-in your items during your shift.

Volunteer No-Show Penalty
As mom’s we sometimes do not control our own schedule especially when your children are active in sports and groups. We understand that because of this, you may not be able to fulfill your commitment to work the shift you signed up for. However, if you are a consignor and are scheduled to volunteer but do not show for your shift, your consigning percentage that you will receive will drop to 40% (you will receive only 40% of your items that sell instead of 60%). If you are a non-consigning volunteer, you will not be allowed to volunteer or consign at the next sale.
If you have experienced an emergency that makes you unable to volunteer your shift, please call Mary at (717) 267-2987. Please, DO NOT call if it is not an emergency. It is your responsibility to find a replacement to work your shift if you are not able to fulfill your commitment.
